Small-Project GC for the Work That Can’t Miss Its Window
School facilities teams have a long list of “must-do” projects—ADA gaps, leaking roofs, failing concrete, and tired bathrooms—that can’t wait but also can’t disrupt students and staff. Stonewing Builders focuses on this small to mid-sized capital projects and runs them with big-project discipline, so your work gets done on time, on budget, and without unnecessary drama.Additionally, we excel in roofing and siding, including flat roof replacements, energy-efficient windows, and low-maintenance siding products. With a focus on craftsmanship, timeliness, and excellence, Stonewing Builders is your trusted partner for government projects.
The Projects We Handle for Districts
We live in the “too small for the big GCs, too complex for maintenance staff” range. Typical school work includes:
- ADA restroom and locker room upgrades
- Entrance, corridor, and ramp accessibility improvements
- Classroom, admin, and support-space remodels
- Roof repairs and selective replacements
- Parapet, masonry, and envelope repairs
- Sidewalk, stoop, and other exterior concrete replacement
- Targeted electrical and lighting upgrades tied to these projects
Most projects fall between $50K and $250K.
Planned Around Your Calendar, Not Ours
We understand that the school calendar drives everything. Our planning and execution start with your constraints:
- Summer and break-window construction as the default
- Phased work in occupied buildings when needed
- Clear communication with facilities, principals, and custodial staff
- Daily housekeeping and safe, secured work areas
- Coordination with inspectors and testing agencies so there are no surprises
